Emma Kitchen, a 19-year-old from West Virginia, United States, has recently been crowned Miss Teen Universal 2023. Describing herself as ambitious, determined, energetic, compassionate, and family-focused, Emma is a small-town girl with big dreams of making an international impact. Currently a sophomore at Fordham University, she is pursuing a degree in political science and aspires to gain acceptance into law school.

Dancing has been a passion of Emma's since the age of six, and she has trained in various styles such as ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, musical theater, lyrical, and precision jazz. Her ultimate dream is to become a Radio City Rockette, and she continues to audition and train in pursuit of this goal. Dance allows her to express herself and bring joy to others through performances.

In addition to her academic and dance pursuits, Emma actively engages in volunteer work. She serves as an assistant teacher at her dance studio, where she works with young dancers between the ages of 2 and 10, providing guidance and support during classes and summer dance intensives. She has also been involved with the BRAVE anti-bullying initiative, showcasing her commitment to making a positive difference in her community.

 

Emma finds inspiration in Princess Diana, admiring her numerous qualities as a role model. Her journey in pageantry began with the desire to have a voice in her community and inspire other young girls to engage in charitable work. Through pageantry, Emma has advocated for important social causes like anti-bullying and social media transparency. She aims to represent her country and be a role model for her generation, using her platform to bring attention to important issues and promote positive change.
